🔑 What Is MetaMask?

MetaMask is a popular crypto wallet that lets you store, send, and receive cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and interact with decentralized applications (dApps) directly from your browser or phone.

✅ MetaMask Login Guide — Step by Step

1. Install MetaMask (if you haven’t yet)

  • Browser Extension:
  • Visit https://metamask.io/.
  • Click “Download”, select your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge).
  • Click “Add to Browser” and follow prompts to install.
  • Mobile App:
  • Download the MetaMask app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

2. Open MetaMask

  • Click the MetaMask fox icon in your browser toolbar, OR
  • Open the MetaMask mobile app.

3. Click “Get Started”

When opening for the first time, you’ll see two options:

✅ Import Wallet — if you already have a wallet.

✅ Create a Wallet — if you’re new to MetaMask.

Already have an account? Click “Import Wallet” and enter your Secret Recovery Phrase.

4. Enter Your Password

If you’ve set up MetaMask before:

  • Click the MetaMask icon or open the app.
  • Enter your MetaMask password you created during setup.
  • Click Unlock.

Tip: If you forgot your password, you’ll need to restore your wallet with your 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase.

5. Access Your Wallet

✅ Once logged in, you’ll see:

  • Your account balance (ETH or other tokens).
  • Your wallet address (starts with 0x).
  • Options to Send, Receive, or Connect to dApps.

🔒 Important Security Tips

  • Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone.
  • MetaMask does not store your password or phrase — you must keep it safe!
  • Always double-check you’re on https://metamask.io/ and not a phishing site.

⚡ Logging in on Different Devices

  • Multiple Devices: You can import the same wallet on different devices using your Secret Recovery Phrase.
  • Switch Networks: Easily switch between Ethereum Mainnet, Binance Smart Chain, or other custom networks in MetaMask.

🆘 Having Trouble Logging In?

  • Forgot Password: Click “Restore Wallet” and enter your Secret Recovery Phrase.
  • Can’t Find Extension: Make sure MetaMask is installed and enabled in your browser.
  • Locked Out: Only your Secret Recovery Phrase can restore your account. MetaMask Support cannot recover it for you.
